Sake Fizz Tea Cocktail Recipe

If there’s a few things our happy steppers love, it’s great organic tea and a cocktail! We decided to repost and share this incredible recipe from the Food Duchess. One of our happy steppers brought this incredible recipe to our attention and she used our Purple Butterfly Tea blend as a substitute for the original recipe that includes butterfly pea flower tea.

Ingredients

- 1 oz Vodka

- 2 oz Sake, such as Gekkeikan

- 1 ½ oz Peach Syrup

- Soda Water

- 2 oz Butterfly Pea Flower Tea, cooled (Substitute With Purple Butterfly Tea)

- 2 tsp Yuzu Juice

Instructions
  1. Brew Purple Butterfly Tea with hot water for 5-6 minutes, then allow to cool completely in the fridge.

  2. In a tall highball glass filled with ice, add vodka, sake, and peach syrup. Add enough soda water to the glass so that there is about 2 inches of space still left at the top. 

  3. In a shot glass measure out the cooled Purple Butterfly Tea and add the 2 tsp of yuzu juice to it. Mix to combine, then pour on top of cocktail. Stir to combine before enjoying.
